Shimano Rock Hopper lures are the next generation on inchiku style metal jigs and have been engineered to invoke aggressive strikes from predatory species like snapper, blue cod, john-dory and kingfish.

The Rock Hopper jig is unique in that the main body (weighted feature) separates from the skirted assist/hook feature to slide down your trace on decent through the water column, thus giving the appearance of a predator giving chase to it's pray in a spectacularly visual fashion and in turn sparks drive.
