The Shimano Speedcast 8000 XSA Surf Reel offers exceptional casting performance thanks to the combination of a cold-forged AR-C spool, Aerowrap II and slow speed oscillation.

The subtle silver on white styling and Instant Drag spool makes the Speedcast 8000 XSA the perfect reel for surf and/or land-based fishing. A gutsy 4.6:1 ratio, combined with 3 shielded stainless steel ball bearings and a roller bearing deliver high cranking power and smooth performance. Plus, its 8000 size makes it the perfect compact long casting reel.
