Kontiki Fishing With Bullet's Sonar Autopilot Kontiki
We went out with Graeme from Bullet Fishing and Kaleb from Outdoor Adventures with Kz to see how the Bullet Sonar Autopilot Kontiki works. These kontikis are simply awesome. They are the only kontiki with a built-in sonar that picks up when there is a decent schoal of fish and carries on for 180m so your hooks are right amongst them. Check it out at this link or click the photo below.
Drone Fishing Uretiti Beach Plus Offroad Fail
On the same day as the Bullet kontiki video, Chris and Jamie from PFS did a drone fishing demo at Uretiti. Chris uses the Daiwa Tanacomelectric reel and Okuma Makaira spin reel, as well as having to use the PFS Pajero to move a car blocking the entrance to the beach. Check out the video at this link or click the photo below.
While the new mechanical release was on show for the day, a camera malfunction resulted in no footage being kept. Keep an eye on our YouTube channel for upcoming videos using the new Condor A22 which has a mechanical push button release with a tension failsafe. These will be available in the new year due to shipping delays.
These are in stock with the supplier and will ship to us as soon as Auckland decends into Alert Level 3. Our range of drones and fishing packages can be found at this link or by clicking the photo below. The Splashdrone FD1 has a payload of up to 2kg, and a range of 1.6km. Starting at $1799 for the basic FD1 with tension release they are the best value water resistant drone on the market.
